Why two months, not two weeks.
Two months is long enough for Ukulhas to stop feeling new. Long enough to have a favourite spot for coffee, a rhythm to the day, and no urge to pack in every excursion because the boat leaves on Sunday.
Some mornings are just breakfast at home and a walk to the beach. Dive next week instead of tomorrow. Cook tonight, eat out tomorrow. Take a quiet day without feeling like you’ve wasted part of the trip.
Two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and washing machine — your own for the full 60 nights.
Stay 60 nights. Pay for 50.
USD 7,500
10 nights complimentary — USD 9,000 standard value, USD 1,500 saved.
- 60 nights
- Entire private home
- 2 bedrooms
- Up to 6 guests
Green Tax and transfers are separate. Visa-extension support available.

For a stay this long, everyday life starts to matter.
After the first week, the small things decide how the stay feels: breakfast on your own schedule, an evening with nowhere else to be, and clothes washed at home instead of planned around a laundromat.
Maafolhey is only ever rented as one whole home. For your entire stay, both bedrooms and every shared room belong to your group, and no one else’s.
Two bedrooms, one booking.
Different rooms for different needs, still reserved for your group alone across all 60 nights.

Who this stay is for.
- Retired and semi-retired couples.
- Slow travelers who’d rather live somewhere for a while than tour it in a week.
- Couples taking a long winter escape from home.
- Long-stay divers who want more than a week of tanks.
- Anyone with the flexibility to spend two months somewhere else, and the interest in spending it here.
What everyday life looks like here.
- Meals
- There’s no fixed mealtime. Cook when you feel like it, eat out when you don’t, and set your own rhythm for the day.
- Laundry
- A washing machine is part of the house.
- Housekeeping
- Housekeeping is provided throughout the stay. Routine housekeeping is every three days. Cleaning and linen changes are also available on request.
- Wi-Fi and living space
- Wi-Fi, a private living room and a dining table are part of the home. If you’re working from here, it’s worth checking the connection suits what you actually need before you commit.

Everyday life on Ukulhas.
Maafolhey is on an inhabited local island, not a resort. Ukulhas is a lived-in Maldivian community with its own customs, including a designated bikini beach for visitors. A restaurant and a small grocery shop are both a short walk from the house (more on that below), the beach is close, and diving or an excursion is there when you want a bigger day.

Everyday life is close by.
The kitchen means you never have to eat out. Ona-Noa is there for the nights you’d rather not cook, and Amsan Mart is close enough that picking up a forgotten ingredient only takes a short walk.

- Non-refundable deposit
- 15% · USD 1,125
- Deposit due
- Within 7 days of confirmation

- 85% · USD 6,375

The deposit isn’t refundable if you cancel before arrival. Because the whole home is reserved for your group for all 60 nights, shortening the stay after check-in doesn’t reduce the total.

Ukulhas sits in North Ari Atoll, about 90 minutes from Velana International Airport by scheduled speedboat. The crossing can run a little longer depending on the route, the weather and the sea.
A Maafolhey colleague meets you at the airport and points you toward the right transfer. At Ukulhas harbour, someone is already waiting: they’ll help with your bags and walk you straight to the house for check-in.
Speedboat seats are booked separately from the USD 7,500 total.
A 60-night stay may require a visa extension. We can help.
We can help with the accommodation side of the visitor-extension process. Maldives Immigration decides eligibility and approval, not us.
